Stress and stress management techniques are necessary to overcome any difficult situation. Beating stress is very important else you may face a trauma. Stress is caused due to repetitive action or may be due to excessive strain to our mind. If stress increases our entire system comes to a halt and we are unable to continue our routine life style. Stress can be beaten only when we relax and stay out of the stressful situation. The other way to beat stress is to handle the situation and overcome it.
Have an open mind:
Economists feel extreme stress when the entire market crashes, doctors feel stress when a patient dies while treating him; professionals feel stress when their work has screwed them. You can beat stress only when you open up your mind. Just remain silent and have a deep breath. Feel the fresh air rushing into your nose and think the solution in a closed room. Most of us take hasty decisions that land ourselves in stressful situations and hence concentrate on what went wrong and work forward.
Get out of the situation:
Try to adopt stress management strategy like escapism. If you have lots of problems in office, better bunk the office and go to your home. Stick around with your wife and kids for some time. Then think about the solution and how to get over it. Return the next day and explain everything in detail. Any decision you take in stressful situation may not result in better solution to the problem.
Turn to your hobbies:
When you got work loaded on your head, better leave them around some corner. You must enjoy the stressful situation by doing what you love. It may range from writing to drawing and so just do what you love. When I am in such a situation, I would just turn on my computer and write a couple of articles on stress! Never think about the same issue when you’re trying to relax. Moreover do not open your blackberry or your laptop and start worrying.
Never shout and increase your tension:
Most people try to beat stress by blasting the other person with an array of filthy words. Men often behave rude to their wives when they have a stressful situation in the office. It is better to speak about your problem to your wife and this may help you relax. Anger will only strain relationship and will not provide any solution. Furthermore it may increase your blood pressure and cause unwanted disease to you.
